What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, why we collect it, how we use and store it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It applies to visitors to our website and to people who contact us about construction management support.
Information we collect and why
Project enquiries and Get a Price submissions
When you submit an enquiry through our Get a Price form or contact form, we collect:
Your details
- First name
- Last name
- Company name
- Company email address
- Telephone number
Project requirement
- Project postcode or location
- Management role required
- Project sector
- Anticipated start date
- Expected duration
- Brief project description
- Main duties and responsibilities
- Required qualifications, certifications or experience
- Any additional information you choose to provide
Why we collect it: to understand what management support your project requires, to respond to your enquiry, to prepare and discuss pricing, and to identify suitable construction management professionals for the role.
Our lawful basis: legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry made to us and providing the service you have asked about. Where we later contact you about other services, we rely on your consent or, where applicable, the soft opt-in for existing business contacts.
Please only include information in the free-text fields that is necessary for us to understand the requirement. Please do not submit special category data, such as health information, or details about other individuals unless it is genuinely needed.
Contact by phone, email or social media
If you call us, email us or message us through a social media profile, we keep a record of that contact and its content so we can respond and maintain continuity on your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
Construction management professionals
If you contact us about working with Bee Construction, or are put forward for a role, we process the personal data needed to assess suitability and to place you. Depending on the role this may include your name and contact details, employment history and CV, qualifications and certifications such as CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS, references, right to work documentation and payment details.
Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one; legal obligation, for right to work and employment records; and legitimate interests, for assessing suitability for a role. Where we hold identity or right to work documentation, we do so to meet our legal obligations.
If we share your details with a client, we will tell you which client and for which role before doing so.
Worker registration through CentricFlow
If you use a registration link that takes you to CentricFlow, your details are collected and processed by CentricFlow under their own privacy policy. We recommend reading it before you register. Where we receive your details from CentricFlow, we process them as described in the section above.
Website usage, analytics and advertising
When you visit our website we may collect technical and usage information, including your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, referring website, and how you move through the site.
We use this for the following purposes:
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, deployed via Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Analytics data is pseudonymised where possible.
- Advertising and conversion tracking. We advertise through Google Ads. Where you consent, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags record which advertisement or search term led to a visit and whether an enquiry form was completed. This helps us measure which campaigns generate genuine project enquiries and manage our advertising spend.
- Site functionality and security. Our website runs on WordPress and technical data is processed by our hosting provider to keep the site running securely.
Our lawful basis for analytics and advertising cookies is your consent, given through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie settings link on our website or through your browser settings.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the website to function, to keep it secure and to remember your cookie preferences. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use the site. Set only with your consent.
Advertising cookies. Set by Google Ads and Google Tag Manager to measure conversions and, where enabled, to show relevant advertising. Set only with your consent.
Third-party cookies. Pages that embed third-party content, for example Google Maps, Google Reviews or The Best of UK review widget, may set cookies controlled by those providers. We do not control these cookies and recommend reviewing the relevant provider’s privacy policy.
You can manage cookies at any time through the cookie settings on our website or through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

These include access controls on our systems and email accounts, encrypted connections on our website, and limiting access to those who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take our obligations seriously and review our measures regularly.

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:

Marketing
If we send you information about our services, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing does not stop us contacting you about an enquiry you have made or work in progress.
